[ FROM THE POSADA'S GUEST BOOK ]

Here, We are the Sanchinelli´s at a restaurant in Antigua Guatemala working hard for you... Francesca my wife, Renato our son (6 in the picture) and me... René
We was born in Guatemala, our ancestors came from Italy over 130 years a go, We enjoy traveling and share what we have learned from our own experience and from other travelers like you.

FRANCESCA is a graduate student in tourism, she helps make all the arrangements for the trips or reservations you request with Us and keeps the feminine touch at the Posada Belen Hotel~Museum.

RENATO our son(8) takes care of the entertaining department and sometimes introduces our friends-guests to our turtle farm at the Posada's garden.

I'm a hotelier, tour guide, agro ecologist , amateur webmaster and herpetoculturist (reptile breeder), lizards and turtles are my favorite animals, but we also like dogs we have (all are at home) 2 chow-chows , 1 Boxer, 1 beaded lizard,  2 or 3 green iguanas lose free in the garden, 4 parrots and a fish in a pond.

I try to keep this web site updated (I said I try) AND STILL WORKING in this  version..   and We all help in the quality tests we personally perform at the restaurants and hotels we visit in all of Guatemala.

It's a hard work Just checking out the places for you. :-)

What else can we do for you?
We would like to help you in ANY travel or investing need you may have in Guatemala and become friends in the process.

We are a licensed Travel Operator on most of the hotels and services we get the regular small travel agent commission, in general you pay the same amount of money (usually less) then if you do the reservations by yourself . If you want to make your reservations direct... NO PROBLEMA... hope they answer.

In 1999 I started trying to help my 72 year old mother to achieve the vision of her life (She is a born again Christian), she wanted to develope a sistem to help reduce poor people and she is trying to do this by helping them to obtain a productive green house and a house in a colony named "Nueva Esperanza" (New Hope) in Esquipulas, Chiquimula near the Honduran and El Salvador border , so if you feel you would like to help in this experiment looking to break the circle of poverty... please be welcome to click here to see the "FRIENDS OF THE POOR" website for more information or email her (Maria) at mail@friendsofthepoor.org

Thanks for visiting us.

Sincerely:
The Sanchinelli's Family
