Car in
Guatemala: Driving in Guate in not easy but VERY convenient. In
Guatemala most cars are Shift Stick so be sure to ask for automatic
transmission if you only drive automatic when you reserve, the

can be delivery over to your hotel also in Antigua, Quetzaltenango, Coban or Huehuetenago
car delivery is available at no extra charge. Note that if you
plan to return the car in another town away from where you pick it up
a return fee will be charge, it can be over $100US for some companies,
many companies also will force you to take all the insurance available
wich is a good idea, iven if you have a credit card insurance cover.
Also always check on the deductible amounts, it is very variable among
companies, some do charge very high deductibles in case of accidents
or car loss.
